Disabled Persons Organizations (DPOs) are advocating for systems change around their world. Their work promotes shifts in attitudes and structural change in line with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

DPOs are advocating for the participation of persons with disabilities in national government or civil society mechanisms for the Sustainable Development Goals. They have also been increasingly involved in the preparation of reports to a diversity of UN human rights mechanisms.
